Greetings Grasshoppers,
Good news! Club Penguin Rewritten has launched a new update. Now the EPF medal system is functional and you can complete missions for medals. In turn, these medals can be redeemed for really neat spy gear & gadgets!
We would also like to mention that the introduction of the earning of medals through PSA missions has prompted the creation of the "PSA Mission Guide" on this blog which will be released soon. The staff at the Grasshopper Journal will be creating a step by step guide on helping out Penguins complete these missions. Stay tuned for that!
The staff at CPR has been generous enough to grant us a new code to celebrate this new update!
As stated in previous blogs discussing the code redemption system, select the "I have a code" option and input the code "FIELDOPS". This code will give you a really cool gray spy suit.
Now, you may be asking; "How do I get medals?"
Well there are two ways of obtaining medals;
First way being the "Field Ops Missions" which will give you five medals per mission (keep in mind these missions are weekly). As of now there is one mission.
Your spy phone will ring, click on it, teleport to HQ and accept the mission found at the yellow computer screen (right hand side of the room).
All you have to do is read the mission's description and accept it.
For this week, the mission is found at the cash register at the pizza parlor.
The mission will require you to decipher a code that is made up of four shapes. Your objective is to put them in a pattern that matches, which you will be able to figure out according to the color of the shape's glow (when you press check).
Green = Correct
Orange = Correct shape, wrong position
Red = Incorrect
You will have to fiddle around with this until you get it right, we would provide a walkthrough but the code is randomly generated and is never the same sequence.
As for what can be redeemed with these medals, check your EPF Phone, click Elite Gear, and there will be a multitude of redeemable both for female and male penguins alike!
When you thought this was enough good news, Gary just happened to appear on the Sleet server and greet the Penguins rocking out the new spy gear!
Unfortunately he did not stay for long. Nonetheless it was still a great experience since many were able to obtain his signed background, post cards, and even meet their very first mascot! We had a great time at the meet up and if any of our readers were there we hope you had a great time meeting Gary!
Pursue knowledge grasshoppers,
Waddle On!
